Hi , My name is Tanusree Roy. I am an expert in Health and Nutrition niche . I have extensive experience in diet plan, nutrition advisory roles in various USA based nutrition and recipe based projects as a co-founder of Ennovation Consulting.
It is often said that cooking is an art. Surely you can find loads of specific information regarding healthy food, but what is probably very important is to understand the actual touch points of healthy recipes.
I like to share my favorite recipes and health tips to enhance our optimal health and wellness.I always enjoy the joy of cooking.Myself is mother of twin daughters ,so my main concern is kids.I can remember my childhood days when my mother made chapatis ,I gave her my little helping hand in desire to help her.Now my daughters do the same.I always want to make simple recipes. I know it’s really difficult to follow a huge process during your rush hour. Many of my recipes are twisted by my own idea but never compromise the taste hence the Indian flavor.
There would be few who have time to cook daily. It’s a fact. But, food loses freshness and hence quality if stored and reheated again and again. Although you can’t cook all the time, try to find time to cook at least every alternate day. Doing so keeps your healthy recipes really healthy.
Please Share your views if you like my blog!
Thank You!

I love your recipes. Thanks for including the nutritional information. It is so nice to have nutritional information for Indian foods, really helps with maintaining a healthy lifestyle while still eating foods we grew up with. You should write a cookbook of indian recipes with the nutritional information, it will be a hit.

I have fallen in love with India. . . . all about its amazing culture. I , too , would love an easy Indian cookbook, but it seems impossible !
May 23, 2015 at 9:23 pm
Hi Annetbell, I am glad to hear that you are in love with India….There are different type of culture in India, hence different type foods recipe are here to learn. My recipes are to some extant easy as sometime I try to prepare them in easy way to save my time….you can try some of them…Basically I am not also a good cook and trying hard to cook better…..:)

I love Indian cuisine but the recipes are rather involved and include a long list of spices and steps. I guess this is the secret to such tasty dishes. I have gotten a jar of curry to add to grilled veggies. Not bad but not as good as in India !
May 25, 2015 at 11:37 am
Yes, you are right . It’s a good idea to have a jar of curry to add Indian flavor to your veggies….but to some extant you have to comprise with the taste of indian flavor..:)
